Wow, that's going to destroy their economy during the summer months. I can't imagine what all the hotel, outfitters, store owners are thinking right now.

This combined with the drought will finish off all the tube rental and other businesses that depend on thousands of tubers every summer.

I can understand why they might be concerned about litter and drunkenness. But I really think this is going to keep a lot of folks away and really hit their economy hard, especially local small businesses who rely on this tourist traffic to feed their families. Something about the Road to Hell being paved with good intentions comes to mind.
