Any thoughts on this one? I know Mineral Wells has placed class 3A 400 meter State Champ Adrian Colbert in the backfield along with their two starters from last year. He burned class 4A Byron Nelson on two long runs during last friday's scrimmage. Also have a new receiver with hands in Isaiah Williams. I'm picking the Rams at home in this one.

Good luck.

Well contrary to popular belief, I believe that Graham wins again just like last year, but with a different score. Good luck to both teams this year and hopefully everybody stays safe and healthy.

Another close one that Graham wins....I like Mineral Wells this year but Graham is a consistent winner..MW is still learning how to win these kind of games

Can they both lose? :) I think the Rams win by 7 in this one, and I will pick em' even though they have become a pretty good district rival for my Bulls.

Close game. Both teams have QB's returning. McCoy (MW) can be erratic at times with his throws, but Bynum (GHS) has problems hitting receivers past 20-25 yards.
Rams return good skill set to compliment McCoy, Graham loses two of their best WR's from last year. Graham needs to rely on their defense, because their offense isn't built for the spread this year.

Must agree with the previous poster. I see the intangibles coming to play in this one. The game is at Mineral Wells. The Rams are seeking revenge. When this bunch of Rams were Freshman they had an outstanding offense. They only lost two games and one was to powerhouse Aledo by one touchdown as RB Rose missed that game. The Rams have an outstanding up and coming receiver in Williams and RB Colbert is the defending 400 meter State Champion. Look for QB Hunter to have more confidence this season as the defend their district title.

Team chemistry is there for Graham...but something tells me that for some reason other than a legitimate one that Mineral Wells emerges from the shadows and does some serious winning this year.:1popcorn:

Mineral wells 28 Graham 24:crazy::confused:
