Great article and seems like a great kid...hope he has a good college football and/or MLB career. Incedentally, Wylie's Austin Gray (from the 09 state finalists) should be the starting safety for Colorado State this year.

Is he not palying reciever? I talk to his dad occasionally at Lowes and never asked where they were playing him but I thought it was WR. Austin hosted Lee on his visit to CSU last fall.

That's a great story. Seems like a great young man. I wish him well in Fort Collins.

He was a great player and I believe the only person on the Iowa Park field with any class when we played them last year. Poised, cool headed, and a threat anytime he had the ball. They really need to assess fully his offensive talents.. Good luck to him.

Did you really have to go there?

whatever happened to that offensive lineman from IP that went to Texas Tech a few years ago?

He developed a medical issue and was unable to play. He recently graduated and is coaching at wayland baptist.

I remember watching him and the rest of that mammoth offensive line against us in the 3rd round of the 2005 playoffs.

and nice story injured. I didn't get to see him play. But, he sounds like a good kid with a promising future. Good luck to him.

Yeah, he sounds like a pretty good young man. I'll hope for the best for him and his coaching career.
