According to the Beaumont Enterprise, Fox News Radio - 1340 AM broadcasts PNG football games. I checked to see if they have a web site... they do... AND they have streaming audio. So, we ought to be able to listen to the game tonight online!

At least the Dogs won't have any excuse to be overconfident about the remainder of the season. Jasper has to get its act together if it is going to contend in district. In Jasper's defense, I think people forget that only 3 or so years ago, PNG made it to the state finals in 4a with this same coach. I suspect he has brought them back to their full potential. PNG just may surprise some people this year.

Even if Jasper makes a reasonable comeback, their ranking is going to fall waaaaay down after this week. Hopefully with that pressure off them, they'll start to perform.

I left for a while to have dinner with a friend and it was 0-7 at that point. This is certainly not what any of us expected, but hopefully we'll learn from it and get back on track. Go Dogs!!! :D

Does anyone know anything about Brown?I saw his picture in the Jasper paper for the summer 7 on 7 season. The PNG announcers are talking about his bursts of speed. Brown apparently has carried Jasper here in the second half. If he turns out the be really that good, then perhaps Patton could go back to defense where he has more experience?? In fact, that could keep some other teams awake at night!
