Going there on business in a couple of weeks...anyone have any suggestions on places to eat etc?

If you want home style southern food...there is a place called Mert's (I think that's right) in Charlotte that is great!

Steakhouses....

They have two Ruth Chris Steakhouses (maybe more) that are good, but my favorite is The Palm.

McNinch House on N. Church St. VERY pricey, but definitely worth it! Price is around $75 - 120 per person (meal, tax, tip)
