How did Kennedale look this last Friday?

Young on the OL...very good QB and a solid defense despite losing their top two players....they've had a run of bad luck the past six weeks

They played Decatur right? How did Decatur look?

Decatur looked OK, they are much improved overall...good depth for a 3A school...very aggressive defense and the QB is solid...saw them mix it up some and go under center in the off-set I...

Matt, I forgot that you were planning to attend the scrimmage. I was there by myself and would have enjoyed the company. Man, is the QB for Kennedale fast or what?!

bigwood, I was down on the field the whole time....I like hanging out on the field during scrimmages so I can get names and little tidbits etc...good way for me to learn about the teams...

I didnt see Decatur in person last year just in film...they look a little bigger, a little faster and deeper than last year.....they'll be in the mix in 7-3A, especially with Bridgeport maybe being more down than we thought

I tried that last week...

Then I got that dreaded line.. " Hey big guy, wanna run some chains."

Oh a side note, the ref let me throw a flag for offsides.

You should tell whoever is asking you that, that you are working and that's what subvarsity or injured players are for...

yes thats why I thought they were deeper because they still had plenty of capable players....Kennedale's top RB moved to Florida, their best DE who committed to Air Force tore his ACL and their best DL quit the team....
