Cuero/Lockhart scrimmage

From my take of it, Cuero is lacking skill players. They have the lines to build around on both sides of the ball. Key, the younger kids moved up will have to grow and develope by district time.

But, they have a great coach, and they will be prepared when the real games count IMO. They are Cuero afterall.

Bottomline: LH dominated them. And, it was expected at this point and with what Cuero had lost from last year, including one of the state's best RB's.

I know the Cuero faithful are worried.

The Gobblers are well coached no doubt. Will take a bit for them to find a replacement or replacements for the RB. The young ones are going to be GOOD!! Patience!!:)

Trust me, they'll be fine. Might have a few rough outings early. When it matters, they'll be clicking. Hell, what is it---80 something straight district wins for my friends to the south? If not, feels like it.
