BLEEDZ is right 1st and Goal, Burnet does a great job with their field every year. Always in good shape. I imagine the water bill this year has been pretty high. But there's another secret to it. All the neighboring waste water is pumped straight behind the field house, thru a strainer, and straight into the sprinkler system. So, I guess you could say it's still a pretty crappy field......Now you know why our boys are hard to knock down on their turf! And when they tackle, they always make sure to land on top! :ack!:

My daughter moved in at ASU this past Sunday. She is in an overflow dorm room until they get the new ones completed. Driving away from campus headed back home without her was hard, but it really didn't hit me until I come home on Monday and there was no music coming from her room (funny how I complained about the loud music before and thats what got me). I understand the emotional rollercoaster you are going through right now.

This year odds are that if there a fight it will be between fans. You prolly know this but most might not know that Longview sits it's general admission fans on the visitor side. They take up half that side. Only a rail seperates the two group of fans.

Going to Wimberley to watch them win over Cuero by 2 TD's. The only way I could swing it was to offer to go shopping with my wife in Wimberley on Saturday. Probably have my brother-in-law come from Spring Branch area and meet for lunch.
