They should basically just put the ball on the 20 and say lets go.

We'll get to see about one return every 5-6 games we watch. Worst. rule. change. ever.

I personally have no problem with it..A it will make the very rare KO for a TD more exciting and B it is safer

I can agree with that..they had it at this spot in past and would not shock me if they move it again

Kickoff moved up to 35 yd line, all members of the kicking team must be withing 5 yards of the ball when the play starts. One announcer said they have to have a body part on the 30.

Don't be fooled by the number of return attempts out of the endzone last night, during the regular season with division standings and playoff spots on the line....most teams will settle for starting on the 20 instead of taking the chance of getting stuffed inside the 10 or a touchback. The kickoff return specialist will be far less important, and kickers like Buehler with a strong leg but so so field goal accuracy may find it harder to get a roster spot..

The kid from San Diego didn't have a problem with it when he took it back 103 to pay dirt.

A touchback means starting on the 20. I think you meant to say safety?

I think this is crazy.Watching kickers kick the ball out of the end zone is not entertaining!?!

Anyway, we'll see a lot more touchbacks than return attempts as the season progresses...unless some kickers try to bait a returner by kicking just shy of the endzone.
