Father,
You said whatsoever any two or more come together and agree and ask in
Your Son's name, it shall be given. We come to You, humbly, and ask that
You bring down the rain to our parched lands. Our farmers and ranchers
need it desperately, as well as our firefighters. We ask this all in
Jesus' name. Amen.

So sorry, Lord, that I haven't thought enough of others to ask the same, rain comes with only your slightest whim for it, we ask for that whim. I agree with my brother in your son Jesus' name, and thank you in advance for the simple privilege of just being heard. You see the sparrow fall, and you know our needs before we even ask. Thank you, Father, for all blessings we overlook, and for those so great anyone can see. In Jesus precious name we ask, amen.

I actually had a few sprinkles today. It freaked me out because of how loud it sounded hitting the tin roof of my patio. Never amounted to anything though. :(

Indeed. We had about 45 minutes of heavy rain this afternoon with high winds and some dime sized hail, heavy enough to make it look like a winter sleet storm on the ground. Rained a bit this evening, just a light shower. Nice cool down.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we praise your HOLY NAME. LORD, you are the GREAT I AM. We will continue to praise your name in good times, and bad,,,because we know you are the ONE who can redeem us from our desparation, and meet us at our need. Today we have a great need in Texas, and as believers we are asking you to grant our prayers for the rain our state is so badly in need of. Perhaps this is our wake-up call to remember you in all things, and to give our thanks for what we have here in Texas. We give thanks to you now, and have faith in YOU that our soils will be nourished by your guiding hand. In Jesus name we all pray this prayer of faith and thanks. AMEN.
