I had a customer recently come into the store and buys some items. He said he wanted to pay by credit card. As I was getting his ticket made up I asked him his name. He said, "Jack Emoff". I started laughing out loud figuring he was trying to be a joker. He then handed me his credit card and it said, Jack Emsoff. I couldnt help it, I just kept chuckling. Wow, what a name.

Wow, parents have to be on drugs to name your kid that... I would have to be like the "boy named sue" if my parents did that to me and hunt them down. lol

I think they would have to call me John. Actually, I have never really understood how Jack and John are interchangeable when they aren't even close to being the same name. Makes no sense, but a common practice.

I knew a guy named Richard Rash. I'm sure there is a good reason his nickname is Rick and not Dick! Another I know is Richard Dull, nickname Dick. Another is William "Bill" Dollar.

BEAST

that's funny, you just reminded me of a 17 year old teenage girl named Heaven I had to chase outside my sister's store for shoplifting. She ran off with about $200.00 of stuff in her bag. One thing for sure, she was fast! Ran clear out of her sandles. Anyway, we got her. But Heaven sure gave me Hell!! I'll never get into the retail clothing business again....those kids are something else...
