Tarkington shocks us by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown but Liberty just to strong. Defense holds Tarkington to maybe 4 first downs and the offense just grinds down the field. No injuries and we got to hold out a couple players who were nursing injuries. Pretty good performance after the big game last week.

Keep the drive alive Liberty. Looks like the Liberty coach probally showed some mercy on the Longhorns, they have had a tough year.

Keep the drive alive Liberty. Looks like the Liberty coach probally showed some mercy on the Longhorns, they have had a tough year.Tarkington shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. Improved defensively. Yes Liberty was impressive after the 7-7 first quarter score.
Tarkington return interception to liberty to 6 with chance to tie it up at 14 and fumbled the ball away. Pretty much all liberty after that.

Yes Tarkington came out opening kickoff but after that our defense put them in check and the offense mover the ball fairly well with the good running fo Emmitt Swiftless and that over powering o-line. Much respect to the Tarkington they played with alot of heart.
