Demoted Johnson and Wallace right after trading bourn and pence a week or so after trading keppinger. It's an entirely new team consisting Of Jose altuve, JD Martinez, Jimmy paredes, and Luis durango. Oh boy...

Tough times indeed. On a lighter note, it was nice watching Paredes get his first Major League hit and RBI's earlier.

Hard to believe that just 5 years ago they were reigning NL champions...

should have torn the team down fully right then..they got caught between an owner who would not rebuild the farm system, nor would spend money to upgrade the big club...hopefully now they can do what Texas did a few years ago and rebuild from ground up

Hoping some of the trades will pay off. The 'Stros have gotten some high ceiling players who throw 100+ and a few decent hitters. This could be the start of a long turnaround. Hoping some of the recent draft picks will pan out. Jio Mier didnt work out so well.

I'm still baffled why they agreed to include Luke Scott in the Tejada deal...and in retrospect, dealing Ben Zobrist for Aubrey Huff didn't pan out too well either.

They had a darn Firesale for sure.... Can't believe they traded everything worth anything for some low key prospects and to top it off, they actually kicked in some cash on many of the deals....What the heck??? Yes, they needed change, but you got to have a few spokes to keep the wheel rolling.

They better give away free beer, shirts and hot dogs along with 1/3 price seats for the rest of the season.

The realignment that Bud Selig has been suggesting will apparently be the Astros moving to the Pacific Coast League. That must explain all the moves..

JA Happ is terrible. 6+ ERA entering tonight and currently has 6ER in 2 1/3. Sweet
