As most of you know, this site is supported entirely by donations. With the recent server upgrade, our co-location rent doubled on us. This new server draws more power than the old one did and that is the reason for the increase. With current level of donations, we're going to have to do something. We now have only about two months worth of rent in the account. We would like to keep a year's funds in reserve. We don't currently have enough to pay the rent and renew the chat room. If you've been meaning to donate, it's very important that you do so as soon as possible. Admin has posted the donation info at the top of the first page when you log in. (The goal will increase shortly because of this) If there's any way you can, please help us out and donate. You will receive increased privileges and our undying gratitude.

Paypal or mail? Mail usually takes some time as Admin only visits the Post Office about every two weeks or so. Paypal is usually pretty quick. I found you on the list and have updated your account. You should see the DM Forum now when you log in.

Yes, you're on the list. I updated your account. You should see the DM forum now when you log in.

I have temporarily taken down the donation goal thing since it was broken anyway. Once Admin gets it fixed, we'll put it back up.

Perfectly understandable. We certainly don't expect anyone to put themselves or their families in a bind by donating to 3ADL. Trust me, the owners would rather open their wallets than have that happen (and do so).

I just joined today, been reading on this site for a coupe of years now. I read where you said info on donations was on front page. I see a green donate button and when i hit it, it justs says donate and has specific numbers to donate, i see nothing about what the "goal" each month is or the cost to maintain etc... i read people saying the percentage goal is not moving up though they donated. Where can I find this information? I too would like to donate a little something but i would like to see what is needed, expected, etc....by the way, great site! appreciate some help here!!

The donation goal tracker had stopped working so I took it down. I have to track it manually right now. Thanks to your donation we are at $40.00 thus far for the month of October.

You have to have a minimum of 100 posts to vote on polls. This is a global setting for all groups.
