Has Bridgeport fallen off that far?

I'm pretty sure I saw a thread last week by one of the Bridgeport posters, that said their star player might be out for the season due to some serious health issues.

Although I will say that I do not think that these teams are separated by all that much. I expect there to be some very good football played in this region this year. A lot of teams that are close to each other talent wise and no truly
dominant team like last year.

It pains me to say Snyder is the team to beat, but I will say it... with that though I will say I think we still have a good shot at beating them.

I don't know if he's out yet but from what I've heard he'll be on blood thinners and will not be able to workout or anything much until his diagnosis is better. There's a chance he will miss a good part of the season or miss it all together.

That is terrible for that kid. Will this be his senior year?

Here's the update I got: He had surgury yesterday to drain/clean whatever it was that was in his neck, it should help him recover faster. If everything goes well and heals up right he should be ready to suit up against Glen Rose.
