If you are intending on teaching P.E., make sure you have additional certifications. There are VERY few of those jobs floating around these days, which means - Congrats Coach! Stay as organized as possible, and make sure everyone is always in the loop. Never assume that middle school students will get information to their parents. Just some advice from someone who has learned all of this on the go.

my second teaching is life science for 8-12. so that might help me not really... in a smaller school 3a or below they wont want to hire you with just life science.... Composite Science and 4-8 generalist are what you will need... I would do generalist first.. it's not very hard

Yeah, that's him. He was also the Supt of Lubbock ISD for a number of years. I forgot about the State Board thing until you mentioned it and was wondering why Nac would name a school after the LISD Super. :doh:
