The slam dunk contest is AWFUL. You have guys doing the same dunk that has been done for years. And it usually takes them 9 or 10 tries to get it right. I mean ppl went nuts on the most overrated dunks of all time with the blake griffin halfway dunking over the HOOD of a small ass car.

with the homerun derby you have ppl putting on performances like Josh Hamilton and Mark Mcgire. Also, once in a blue moon you get to admire the beautiful swings of Ken Griffey Jr and Rafael Palmerio. Not to mention Chris Berman who is an underrated anaylist.

\. Arent they doing the same thing with hitting the baseball that they have been doing since about 800 BC
