It's still undecided. But the kid is working his butt off this summer

Recently heard the same thing. Gob's appear to be moving on. Hat's off Coach Owens for standing on morals. He was giving 1 chance, and then smeared Cuero's face in it again just a couple months latter.

Wish the kid well in life. Hopefully, he'll get it together now that football is out of his life?

IMO, Coach Owens and the Cuero officials made the right call here. More to a program/school/community then just rushing 300 yards a game. You cannot tolerate multiple issues cause the youngsters are watching.

I wish Cuero well, and knowing them as well as I do, they will replace the gap and not miss stride. Good luck my friends over there.
