I'm trying to figure out how to change the personal default so that when you reply, it is automatically in Advance mode instead of Quick reply. Any one figure this out? Is it even possible?

Not yet. looks like this is a permanent feature. fastest method seems to be reply then alt + x. but you still have to navigate to reply. maybe they can give us a settings option.

Click "reply to thread" at the top or bottom. Isn't that how it was on the old one?

Yep, that's what I've found thus far. No biggie either way was just wondering.

Advance reply is a little different than quick reply. There are many more options including a side box with all the smily's in Advance mode.

And that is why I said to click "reply to thread" at the top or bottom...

This is what your talking about. When you hit the Reply button or the Quick Reply button you get this.

Click

Settings > General Settings

Scroll down till you see "Miscellaneous Options"

Choose Standard or Enhanced Interface

Standard is like the old forum and Enhanced Interface is a WYSIWYG meaning you will see your bold, color, and etc when you type it.
