The pool is at the baseball park, that should do it.

The kids would love the pool if its as hot outside as it has been. Should be a fun time at the ball park looking foward to playing Joe Tiners 8u Reds.

My 8 and U girls softball team is playing in a tournament here in Brownwood this weekend also. I got the schedule today and if we keep winning (which is a very good possibility) then we will be playing til late in the evening. It should be a big weekend at the sports complex. There are 4 tournaments going on at the same time. Girls 10 U and 8 U and boys 10 U and 8 U i believe. Looks like the new complex is already starting to pay off.

Place stays packed and I think they have problems finding extra folks to hire as lifeguards so they have to limit the hours. They did recently expand the hours.

during the summer they have a lot of after hour parties there for different organizations. I might be wrong, but I venture to say that the pool is an expense for the city. I bet it can't self sustain and make a profit. Maybe I'm wrong?

The old pool was an expense, I am pretty sure the new one is a money maker.

Isn't admission pretty cheap? It might be an expense.

If you can't make the pool in time they have some decent movies at the Mall.

Any of these kids know how to mow? It rained yesterday and my guess is by the weekend my yard will need mowing. I don't have time, I'm golfing and gonna try to catch some 7-on-7 :D

If the pool is closed they could probably feesibly swim all the way across the lake:doh:
If you know what Geocaching is, there is about 20-30 sites throughout Brownwood
