He's def good. He will be a force, but it's too early to label him Tiger Woods.

i think he will get more majors than Phil, but he wont get near Tiger. If Tiger is 90-95% healthy he will have a memorable British Open and get his 15th.

Listening to ESPN radio got me thinking..

Who had the better US Open?

Which course was set up the toughest?

I gotta go with Tiger. Wasn't he like the only one at PB under par?

Rory is a good golfer no doubt but he is not and will not be the money producing machine Tiger is.

I heard that debate as well. It's tiger and it's not even close. Did u see how low the course played on Sunday and where they had the flags placed at? It's almost like they planned on rory faltering and they wanted the course easy enough for the field to make a run.

Yup and a few days before the Riley cat from ESPN said there was talk about making course easier so others could catch up.

Bottom line- Love him or hate him Tiger makes golf better to watch as a fan. A healthy Tiger in his Sunday red is a great thing to watch. Heck, even in his Scarlet Letter times it still is.

Speaking more of Woods, Sportsbook has Tiger at 15/1 to win the British, the highest odds they've ever offered on Woods in a major.

I'm a big Rory fan, BUT, the kid has only won 3 tournaments and it remains to be seen whether he can hold it together when it is tight coming down the stretch. He definitely kicked everybody's ass at Congressional and his ability is without question, but we'll see what happens. All you Tiger haters: I guess he is the only one that ever cheated on his wife. It's a long way from winning 1 major to winning 14. I hope Rory does. I'll be rooting for him every time he tees it up. But, there is some reason he has only won 3 times. He is definitely great for golf right now.

Health has nothing to do with it. Tiger's problem is more mental than physical. He's lost his edge. I want to see him get it back but I don't know if he can

Did y'all hear about the bet that Rory's dad made?

I never said he won bc tiger wasn't playing. i simply said i would like to see him do that with tiger breathing down his neck...last time tiger made a small run rory folded like a lawn chair. and to say health has nothing to do with it is plain stupid. his knee and achillies are shot. also tiger has placed 2 4th place finishes in back to back masters and has played AWFUL for tiger's standards. there was absolutely no pressure on rory this weekend. it was the worst ever rated us open. put tiger in the field and it's a whoole different ball game.

I have no use for Tiger anymore, but would love to see him come back to his best, now that he may finally have someone that can push him. Everyone has been looking for a contender for years for Tiger. Lefty hasnt done it with any consistancy, Ernie looked good for a while but eventually folded under the pressure. And there have been a couple others that showed some promise at times. But now I do believe Tiger may have a real contender, even when playing his A game. If Rory can stay cool, when/if Tiger gets his game back, is back to shooting low low rounds on Saturdays and Sundays, it will be a great spectacle to watch. No doubt, Rory is the best thing to happen to the PGA since Tiger first burst on the scene. But Rory is still young, and will still have growing pains to go through yet. He may not have the mental maturity yet, to respond well when being pushed hard on Sundays.

While I do think it has more to do with mental, it's not true that it has nothing to do with health.

His left knee is shot and probably will need to be replaced soon. You can google some stuff from golf talking heads that talk about how much stress his swing has put on that left knee.

He's probably going to need to make some significant changes to his swing.

I'm pretty sure Tiger's Health and Mental problems have a lot to do with his relationship of Dr. Anthony Galea. or the lack thereof recently   just sayin!!!!

He's a pure talent with a good head on his shoulders and support of great parents! He's made a good start on a career that shows enormous promise. He showed he can learn from his mistakes at Augusta and was able put those lessons into practice. 50,000+ AMERICAN fans cheered him on as he put a hurt on our own golfers. This kid's got class! Good for the game of golf!
