Yes we got quite a bit. Electricity got knocked out 3 times. Wife was scared and woke me up 3 times. I'm tired but thankful for the rain.

I played Feather Bay the Sunday before Memorial Day. It was in great shape. As for a beach, the entire lake is a beach right now with a little water in the middle.

Storm caused us to lose power for an hour, but it was well worth it. As an added bonus, temp has not gotten over 76 this morning

The area it's hitting now needs it in a terrible way. It is tracking east though, and kind of dispersing in different directions.

We only got a few sprinkles in Hungerford-Near Wharton

We need rain bad-Our farm crops near El Campo produced nothing this year..

We should have had crop insurance but the person who farms our land didn't aske us about it.

We will miss the needed income since we don't have jobs

Hay is getting HARD to come by in West Texas....hardly any of the feed stores can find any!

My ever enterprising son just bought a 32' flatbed trailer and is going to E. Texas and buying it for $35 a round bale.....coming back to Midland and selling it for $80.

Not a drop of rain in Midland since October 2010!! :(
