I was watching the opening of the US Open on NBC. There was a group of kids who would recite a line of the Pledge of Allegiance and then they would cut to pictures of soldiers or something patriotic. I followed all of the lines up to point where they said "One Nation" (cut to soldiers) and then "with liberty and justice for all". No "under God" mention anywhere. To make sure we heard it right they did it again later in the opening.

That is a bunch of crap.

They just came back on and apologized for the inadvertant error. Apparently a lot of people were upset about it.

They just started crawfishing...apologized and said it wasn't intentional. Pretty big oops.

Me too. It wasn't just an off the cuff statement by a commentator. It was a produced piece. No way it was a simple mistake.:hand:

I hope they do well with it. If I remember the proceeds from ITunes go to Ricky's charity. Or something like that. They look pretty rediculous but for charity, it's worth it at times.

Yep. My 11 year old already has it on her iPod.
