Yep, agree to both! I'm riding 40 miles tomorrow morning, then watching a little 7 on 7 at Tarleton, then get ready for some CWS action... especially the Texas vs Florida game at 6. Hook 'Em!!

I'll be rooting for the home town kid (http://www.texassports.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/carrillo_kendal00.html)

Some of you Wylie and Snyder folks should remember him.

Especially since A&M made it. I wish their pitcher Stilson wasn't hurt. They'd have as good a chance as anybody with him. IMO.

I'm glad you posted this, I would have forgotten about the game tomorrow evening.

P4S, you should come over. Since "you know who" in my house is from Florida and hates all Texas teams, it should be interesting.

Plus I have the Sookie Stackhouse series waiting for you!

Yep. Jungmann did not have a very good outing yesterday and A&M did not have enough offense today. I thought Stripling pitched well but the offense was just not there.

Jungmann struggling at a bad time. That's three starts in a row for him. I think A&M and Wacha win against Cal. UT offense is not that good. I see them stuggling against North Carolina. Hope I'm wrong.

Looked like it was headed for a very high scoring game. Then nada until the ninth.

Wow.. That was a great job by the freshman Kent Emanuel...

Kept the UT hitters in check.

Also helps when UT ran bases today like tballers.

Yep. UNC pitcher was great today. And two outfield double plays?! Not a good showing this year at the CWS for the Horns.

Tonights game will be a good one..

I think the Gators might have to much.

horns struggled at the plate all year. mix that with a weird start from jungmann in omaha and this is about what you get lol

all year texas went how it's starting pitching went.. if the horns were giving up 4-5 runs, they were prolly gonna lose more times than not

i still say this was one of the better coaching jobs augie has done at texas in recent memory. he just didn't have the offense this year and he did a good job of mistmatching things and piecing together a bullpen that turned out being pretty reliable all year

Yes sir you are correct. :iagree:
Amazing the difference the BBCOR bats made for the Horns.

Hopefully the kid from Jesuit doesnt sign with Pittsburgh and comes to UT like he originally planned he would be of great use same with the pitcher I forgot who drafted him though.

That's Josh Bell correct? I still think he comes to Austin. He said no matter where he's drafted, he will be a Longhorn. Hope so.
Hopefully SLC' pitcher John Curtiss joins him too. He was drafted by Colorado.
