My mom called me earlier and said that my uncle had been mowing his grass and ran over a bee hive??? I guess he's either allergic to them or was just stung so many times and ended up calling for help. He was found dead like an hour and half later. They revived him and life flighted him to houston. After several hours, they just came and told my family that he has brain stem activity only (which basically means that his organs still work, but has no other brain activity.)

My family would appreciate your prayers.

My prayers to you and your Saggy, as a human being, nothing I can say will truly reflect how tragic this is, but when I say that God will comfort you in your sorrow, I say that from my heart.

How old is your uncle?

He's my great uncle. He's 60. They're doing more brain testing today to see if anything changed overnight. They're awaiting the results to make a decision on what to do

So more info.

It was actually hornets, not bees... which makes more sense considering he ran it over. He was stung more than 30 times. He managed to walk to his truck and get his phone. He called his boss. The boss asked if he needed an ambulance. He said no. Boss called one anyways and went out to find him. Found him unconscious and not breathing. He started CPR. Ambulance came and they did CPR. Life Flight was called. It was an hour and a half before they got him on oxygen. Took him to the hospital, tried to save him. Put him on a ventilator and tested his brain for activity.

The results came in today and it's what they have been expecting. No brain activity and they said they've never seen anyone recover from it so my aunt and their kids decided it was time to take him off the ventilator. Funeral arrangements being made for this weekend. Thank you all for your prayers.

Man, he seemed like a young 60--out in this heat mowing the grass and all. I'll be praying for you and your family's healing through this situation.

Condolences from Katy.
