I doubt he was faking it really makes no sense for him to miss 7 minutes in the 3rd quarter to "fake" an injury in the finals I dont think anyone would do that.

I mean Im a big time Lebron homer be the first to admit it but in game 3 Marion hit him in the face on the play they called a double dribble no call. Marion jumps up and he leans in and lands on him when he is shooting a 3 with a minute left. (Now I dont love that call but Dirk has gotten it all series so fair is fair). Then last night most people dont notice this but with 10 minutes left Lebron is about 30 feet from the goal sees Stevenson is going to foul and is in a shooting motion when fouled and it is called on the floor. By rule that is a 3 shot foul. Calls are missed on both sides taking away nothing from the Mavericks the point Im trying to make is while everyone keeps making a huge deal about this flop. Lebron hasnt got any of the calls really outside of that and Marion on the block last night.

he also got the call on the double dribble and then hook around marion but foul called on Marion

and I like that the foul was not called a shooting foul...IMO that rule needs to be revised to natural shooting motion..not throwing the ball 40 feet from goal as your being fouled

And by rule that is a shooting foul Im with you it should be changed but if your calling the games by the rules in place you cant argue that is a shooting foul.

Let me repharse I dont like the flopping Lebron is better and above that and it is not part of the game. But this has been going on for years and everyone is acting like noone has ever flopped like Lebron did. I mean if you watch the NBA you see several plays like that doesnt make it right I hate it but yea.

Hopefully David Stern had a meeting with the refs and showed them the videos of Lebrons acting like a fish out of water and said this guy flops or fakes 99% of the time so don't worry about calling a foul because it's probably not.

acvtually by rule the ref has to decide if it was a shooting foul..throwing the ball up 40 feet from the basket does not auto mean it is foul..it is the refs discretion and he made the correct call

come on EV...running to the basket 40 feet away and trying to throw the ball in the air is not a shooting motion unless he is beating the shot clock or game clock

that is why the ref has the discretion..if they did not a player could have his back to the basket 50 feet away and as he is being fouled throw the ball up and claim he was shooting

again as I said..so because it has happened before it is ok that James and Wade both got fouls without even being close to being touched

I dont like flopping..but I can live with it if a offensive guy is driving to the lane and there is some actual contact and the defender tries to sell it...agian dont like it, but at least their is actual contact

I dont like ANY player trying to create phantom contact when there is none..that tells me that player is so unsure of their ability they have to create something that is 100% not there

I think ev's problem is with the fact that everyone and their dog has decided to make it a point of trying to find a reason on the court in justifying why they hate Lebron and Wade. Where was all the outrage about flops before Lebron left Cleveland for South Beach?

Hey Roughneck93 I have heard for years that Wade fakes or exagerates injuries. The trouble is that some of these players have never heard of the story of the boy who cried wolk. Maybe freshmen english should make them read it during their one year in college. :)

Plus I follow a lot of people on twitter like insiders and what not people HATE Lebron the hate people have for this guy is honestly kind of scary. The guy flops on the basketball court and a poster here says "this guy is the reason to support birth control" Cleveland fans create websites to start rumors about the mother of his children having an affair with Rashard Lewis. The guy plays basketball its ridiculous.

I'm not saying it's right for people to trash Lebron because I have done it myself and 2 wrongs don't make a right but when he and Wade do things like they did the other night mocking Dirk they are gonna get hammered for it. The only reason I disliked Lebron as a player is because he flops so much. Now he acts like a 13 year old with Wade making fun of Dirk who is destroying you is just stupid. As a person I'm sure he is a good guy but as a player and someone kids look up to I think he false way short.

I agree the Lebron hate is way over the top. But you have to admit, he has brought most of this on himself. He made a fool of himself all on his own, and now he is paying the price for it. Now he just needs to shut his mouth, grow up, and play the game like he is capable of playing it. If he will just do that, he will eventually reach his potential, and most will eventually forgive him for his youthful moranic antics. But I see no evidence of maturity winning out yet, so I'm guessing he's going to have to endure all this for a while yet.

Anyone who consistently does foolish things is a fool by definition. I won’t bother to even attempt listing most of them, but here are 3 quick instances that comes to mind.
He has promoted himself as "King James", and even did so before really accomplishing anything. I don’t know how long he has had the tattoo of the crown, but I now he's done nothing to earn the title of King, unless its "King of Fools".
Then there was the ill-conceived fiasco with Wade and Bosh, when they came together and proclaimed they would win not 4 not 5 not 6 not etc etc etc... championships. Only a fool proclaims he will win multiple championships, before he has even proven he can win one.
And the most recent that comes to mind, is him and Wade making fun of the opposing guy that had done nothing but steadily kick their butts on the court, when and where it counts. While Lebron has done nothing but choke like a dog eating chicken bones, because he is too small mentally to handle the magnitude of the moment.
Yea, I'd call that being a fool.

Having said all that. I do believe Lebron has all the physical tools to become the greatest NBA player of all time. But he'll never realize that potential until he gets as mature from the neck up, as he is from the neck down. Maybe he'll get there someday, who knows. He's certainly getting a huge dose of humility right now, which should help him a lot in the long run, if it doesn’t destroy him first. Only time well tell how it all works out.

He never started King James. People in Ohio started calling him King James his junior year in high school.

That was a pep rally for the Heat fans that cameras were there for. Pep rally to get the fans excited and increase excitment about the team that is what pep rallies are about. It was Miamis idea they did the same thing for Shaq when he came to Miami. Joe Namath is loved for his guarantee. I love that. What do you want the guy to say to get the fans excited well we might win one maybe two.

Wade started the whole Dirk thing and Lebron laughed. He laughed not a huge deal so overblown. But that would be the most valid of your points if any.But I dont judge Bron or Wade because of that because when with my friends Ive done way worse stuff then that as far as trying to be funny I think we all have. Hell I mocked my mom for sniffling and sneezing non stop the other night when she did it in a joking way and its not like it was a big deal.
