Two Recruits decommit from A&M to LSU

This has happened recently. They are both from Louisiana and are DL Jerald Hawkins and ATH Davante Bourque. I am never happen when recruits change their mind even though it happens all the time but LSU got them to change their minds.

LSU must be mad at A&M for hiring their great Track and Field Coach.

One of LSU's greatest football coaches was Paul Dietzel who was there from 1955 to 1961. He didn't do good the first three years but after that his teams were great from 1958 to 1961 with a 35-7-2 record along with winning the National Championship in 1958 and coaching Heisman Trophy winner Bill Cannon. He left after the 1961 to go to Army for a few years and then to South Carolina for several years but he didn't come anywhere to matching his success at LSU. In fact he left a great LSU team in 1961 that had great players coming back the next year. A big mistake indeed because he had it made at LSU with great future talent coming.
