Midway's Monique Miller lays down a bunt and the throw to first is high, scoring the runner from second to make it 9-1 and advancing the other two runners to second and third. Alexia Rowe up with a pair of runners in scoring position.

Rowe delivers with a single into right that scores both runners. Midway cuts into Forney's lead to make it 9-3 with Rowe standing on first. No outs

Brown busts one back up the middle, and it's misplayed by Mabary and runs all the way to the wall to score Guffey from first for the fourth run of the inning. Brown hustles all the way to third base and Callee Guffey has a chance to cut the lead to four.

Guffey goes down looking on a strikeout to get Forney out of the inning. Midway has four runs on four hits to make the scoreline respectable.

Miller lays down a brilliant bunt single, but Katie Neal got caught off the bag rounding third base and an adept toss gets her out.


Alexia Rowe robbed of a hit off another nice diving snag from Micah Fitzgerald. Two down.

Tillery is called on an illegal pitch and Miller trots to second base.
