Does anyone know if Giddings has hired a new Girls Varsity Basketball Coach?

don't know yet....but they needed to replace the one they had, last three years went 19-1 in district and three district championships, ???????? New guy came in and what some friends in giddings tell me, he was told that he would be coaching jr. high next year....??????

Yah, I'm still PO'd with the system that caused this. If what little I know matters (it usually doesn't), the person that was the cause of the coach getting demoted has been voted out. People were seen dancing in the streets to the tune of "Ding Dong the wicked witch is gone" after news of his getting voted out spread.

I just saw on a banner in the gymnasium that the girl's BB team won district the last 3 years in a row and hadn't won prior to that since 1992. So, here's to Coach Lee Essman (sp?) and the girls who played their hearts out the last 3 years. Hip,hip, hooray!
