Years ago I inherited some old knives from my dad---among them a yellow-handled Case, and a K-Bar. I've got a Buck and a Hen & Rooster, plus a Swiss Army.

Don't know what the best kitchen or steak knives would be....

I bought a set of Wusthof knives about four years ago. I like them a lot, however I've heard that there are some Japanese knives out there that rival the best Germany and France has to offer.

As far as kitchen knives, you can't go wrong with Henckels.

Some of the best hunting knives are made by Cold Steel.

When the monthly Budk magazine comes in, it is like a mini X-Mas. Not the best quality but the variety is cool.
