Im glad it was painful to watch how bad he was in the little time he played this year.

It was time. Shaq was the most dominant player in the NBA in his early days--nobody could out-muscle him under the hoop.

It is too bad he was so far past his prime when he was in Cleveland with LeBron. If so Cleveland would have been NBA champions.

End to a storied career. It was about time, he looked like he was in so much pain.

Should've retired right after he won his last ring with the Heat. He spent too much time chasing that fifth ring and wasn't able to contribute.

He has a house in Frisco and I just missed running into him at a 7-Eleven by five minutes. I walked in and everyone inside was still marveling.

i think he was more paying bills than seeking a ring.....imo
