Who is your least favorite announcer?

Mine would definitely have to be Chris Berman

Mine would be Bob Papa. He made Thursday night football games on the NFL Network seem so boring! Reports are out there that he has been replaced. Hope so.

Hubie Brown. Jeff Van Gundy. Mark Jackson. ESPN has a lot of trash announcers. The guy who did the '05 BCS NC.

berman and van gundy....

i dont know how either van gundy is in pro coaching, they both know a lot but are "right fighters", they dont care if their teams win or lose as much as they just wanna be right....neither of them are gonna get where they wanna be in coaching if they dont put down a little of the ego and concern themselves more with the final score....

phil and pop fuss with the refs but dont live or die with whether they win the last argument with the refs....mark and stan just havent made that last little jump yet.....

Berman is a bad play-by-play announcer but he is pure gold on Baseball Tonight and Sports Center

as an Aggie I think Dave South and Craig Way.............South just give a score everyonce and a while ..............and Craig Way calm down it's just long fly ball out at the Disch..........or only a three gain on the play.

I tell you what I have listen TXB do softball and enjoyed his stuff.

many don't like Bobby Knight...but I love him....he does a great job of explaining basketball and what's going on..........problem for most is he see's the game like a coach and explains it like a coach in a film session (which is what like).....and most people don't watch basketball or sports the same way a coach does.

I have for years told kids.....to stop watching the games as fans and listen to most of the guys doing color for the game and you can learn a lot about the sport.

Present: Brent Musberger

Past: Howard Cosell--not so much for his announcing, but just because he was all horses's rear on and off camera.

I personally don't care for Johnny Miller's dismissive tone on NBC's golf telecasts.

no it was not on his prompter

here is the story

During his freshman year, Collins agreed to fill in for the regular sportscaster, who was ill, on Ball State University's campus newscast. The teleprompter was operational, but an inexperienced operator accidentally fast-forwarded through the script, leaving Collins with only an occasional few words to use
