Looking forward to this game, this site is dead on baseball . Looks like this is now a football only site.

If La Grange can score early on Hollingsworth they have a chance to advance.

Good luck Leps. Win one more for the home town and get a ticket to the big dance in Austin. There has been lots of fire in the belly from these guys this season to get this far. Now bring it home.

Who won the flip and wanted the 1 game?

Robinson won the flip and chose the one game.

Yeah I'd do the same. Why the hell not? La Grange can really really swing it, so make them prove they can do it against your best when it all matters. Also, this sets you up better for the state tourney instead of playing a 3 gamer

Makes for a very interesting game. Both teams are very good, should be a great one. Region III will be well represented at State.

Robinson had Grad. on Sat. night. I am sure that weighed into the 1 game deal!

Yeah you're right, never know what might decide a one or two game series. I'm sure they had their reason(s). This time of year plays such a big part in determining where and when. This is one of those games I wish I could see. Robinson with their pitching and LG with the hot bats.

After last week beating Bridge City 8-1 and then winning by 1 run in game two is probably the biggest reason. Heck, they may have wanted one game in that series too. If I had a UT commit like they do on the bump, I'd lean towards 1 game as well.

Have to agree with you about wanting one game, Robinson definitely wanted 1 game and we definitely a series. Hopefully we can scratch a few runs and our pitching and defense will come through, Robinson is a very good team they we could very well see next year also, both team's are young with ours being very young.
