If it rains it will effect the game.

I always hope weather is not a factor but sometimes it is. Rain does seem to hurt a passing team. I remember in college where A&I played a team from South Dakota (I think) that was a grind it type of team where A&I was a great passing team. It was an NAIA playoff game and it rained and it was hard for our QB to throw the ball and when he did throw it our receivers just couldn't hang on to the wet ball. So we had to play grind it out football on their level and still won 20 to 0. On a dry field we would have beaten them 40 to 0 and had our second string out there in the lst quarter. Of course sometimes if the defender slips in the wetness the receiver can be wide open for a touchdown too so may be it balances out.

It doesn't appear anything stops Burnet!

Burnet had 1 fumble also in that game. Weather will affect both teams run or pass. Special teams are especially affected.

McGee has very large hands. He has always handled a wet ball very well. Unless it is pouring down rain during the game, I believe a wet field will help the receivers get open.

Burnet by 40, rain or shine. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/515.gif

Warner fumbled and Rowdie Bizzle fumbled 2 twice. Jordan also fumbled but I think Burnet recovered that one.

I doubt it, the rain didn't seem to affect them too much last week against Liberty Hill. They had a few slips here and there, but for the most part, they handled the wetness pretty well.

It depends really on how much rain they get. Last week they got a little sprinkle and there were a few fumbles. but It didnt seem to have much affect on the passing game to much for burnet. Wet weather can have an affect on both teams at anytime. It just depends on who takes care of the ball better.

I'm not near as concerned about the rain as I am about the flu bug. The flu seems to be rearing it's ugly head right now.

The only way Burnet loses is if they beat themselves with turnovers and penalties.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/37.gifgreat post richard. i mean paintball. terry bradshaw said not to long ago that rain does not affect the passing game. the reciver knows where he is going and the defender has to make all the cuts. raIN AFFECT THE RUNNING GAME MORE THAN THE PASSING GAME.

The latest weather report shows upper 70's day time, lower to mid 70's game time, only 30% chance of light showers.

Too bad I can't go to the game, since I go to Sam and there nothing to do Friday night I can just walk to and see how good Jasper is against Mexia. In the datapolls they are only to be picked by 9.
