I've decided to stand up against ugly people getting married.

It diminishes the institution for all of us pretty people.

That is all.

I have no problem with ugly people getting married as along as they are getting married to another ugly person. Whats the harm?

It has nothing to do with offspring.

We are talking about my right to tell ugly people what they can't do because they are different.

I may be willing to allow ugly people a civil union, but I will not allow the sanctity of my marriage to be tarnished.

I truly expected something much more witty or clever from you.

Your offer is rejected, but you're welcome to try again. :p

of course if we had the same attitude about shallow people PPH youd have problems finding a mate to match.

I can afford to be shallow.

I'm not only pretty, I'm also loaded.

Heck yea, PPHSFan, and what gives these same people the right to tell other people they can't marry their 12yo 1st cousin?

its not the people that dont give you the right to marry your 12 year old cousin, its the Penal Code that dont give you that right! LOL

Besides why would anyone want to marry your cousin? The way I look at it, Dude! shes family shes not going anywhere! You can hit that anytime you want without marrying it.

Actually, "being" loaded is not illegal, if you are not in public.

lol

Another case of "what happens in private stays in private"?
Sounds good.

Why change a definition that has been around for 100's if not 1000's of years?
Maybe because in the rush to change it, there is a loss of wisdom? Nah, I'd say the whole argument on the other side smacks of arrogance.

I guess it's too early in the morning for me, because I'm not sure as to which definition you are referring.

wouldn't this make more sense if marriage was an institution that had been set aside for pretty people only? Ugly people have been getting married just as long as pretty people...now if you want to kick ugly people out of beauty pageants go for it:D
