What are your favorite card games? I don't play that much anymore, and never did play for much money, but I like:

Blackjack
5-card draw
5 or 7-card stud & variants High Chicago, bet-declare-bet, etc.
Texas Hold Em'
Canasta
Cribbage
Gin Rummy
Crazy 8's
Hearts
Spades
BaseballUmp

I play some hold 'em tournaments and I won $20.00 last night when some people came to my place....


But I also like Gin Rummy, Spades, spit in the ocean, sequence, blackjack and a few others.

You can discount the game, but, it really is the best card game ever.
Think fantasy poker but with over 10,000 cards to pick from. Unlimited options and card combinations. Only the smaaart play this game.:p

But, my favorite thing to do with cards is turn a Cowboy hat upside down on the floor, and sit about 20 ft away and sail cards one at a time and land inside the hat. I'm the worlds best at this. We didn't have many toys growing up. My all time PR was 49 out of a 52 card deck.

The game has changed. All these new cards are "broke" in my opinion. Planeswalkers are a very powerful addition to the game. They count as another player on your side.:eek:

My bro still has some of those power cards from alpha and beta. Got mox's worth 100's of dollars.

I shouldn't have sold mine. I had a full set of Moxes, a Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, and Time Walk, not to mention Mana Drains, Library of Alexandria, and an almost complete set of Dual Lands, along with most of the good stuff from the recent (at the time) sets.

Oh well. :(

Yall ever play "In Between"? That game game can get real expensive in a hurry.
Playing spades for a buck a point can get real expensive also.

We have a local poker club, we play every week 18-30 guys-$10 buy in tourney, when you get knocked out we start a cash game, tourney is Texas Holdem, cash game is dealers choice, lot of holdem, Omaha high low, 5 card stud, black bottom follow the queen. We do a point system in our tourney and the top ten play a championship tourney at the end of the year.
