Lady Necks play Sweeny at U of H Thursday @ 7:00. And at 4 & 6 Saturday.No site yet for Saturday.

Games 2 and 3 (if needed) will be played at George Ranch High School's Softball Field.

I guess playing in West Columbia and Sweeny was just way too complicated??? At least gas isnt $4 a gallon.

This deep in the playoffs you want your kids to get to play somewhere different and/or very nice. Neither school has facilities that would accomodate a large crowd.

My wife works in Athletics at UH so Im for it. It was more of a joke but I guess there will be none of that during playoff softball.

Game 2: Saturday, May 28th @ 4:00PM

So who do you like here? I know they played each other earlier with Columbia being the victor but a lot has changed since then and this is the play-offs. Will it go 3 games? What or who will decide the games.

Columbia in three. Both clubs are on all roll but the Lady 'Necks ,aka The Bomb Squad, will win this with their big bats. That, I think, will be the biggest factor.

I will admit WC has a lot of power. Sweeny has played well as of late and should make for an exciting series. It will be difficult for WC to beat Sweeny 4 times in one year.
