Danbury Softball batting in the last of the sixth, now up 4-0 on Poth. Ashley Noak had a solo home run in the fifth for the Lady Panthers.

Angleton Softball

A home run in the bottom of the sixth leads Montgomery past the Ladycats, 3-2, in Game 1 of their three-game regional semifinal series. Game 2 will be at 7 p.m. Friday back at Katy Seven Lakes High School.

Danbury softball game is a final, with the Lady Panthers winning 6-0 to take the opener of the best-of-three series. Game 2 will be at 5 p.m. Saturday back in Weimer, with Game 3 to follow if it's needed.
