Good decision by CISD school board. If you were going with an unproven coordinator type, they had the sense to hire the guy who was already there helping win the ball games. Locklear is the offense line coach so I imagine he will continue with the slot-T. They lost 3 coaches (Williams, Grubbs, and the basketball coach). I wonder with budget cuts how many staff members they will allow Locklear to hire? Going to need someone to replace Williams calling the defense.
Hope the Hornet Nation can move forward preparing for the 2011 season.

Yes, all true. Also, Carrigan is/was the head golf coach...don't know if he will be continuing in that role.
