West Texas is burning up

I went to Lubbock this weekend to visit with relatives and support one that was graduating from Tech. The entire West Texas areas is drying up from a lack of rain and is pretty much all brown right now. But from Guthrie Texas to Dickens Texas (approx 30 miles) the south side of highway 82 was burned from the recent fires. As far as the eye could see was nothing but black ash and burned tree trucks for about 30 miles. I saw deer eating on the side of the road during the day which is something that seemed a little unusual. Me and the old Indian guy had a single tear running down our cheeks...............
