Two 3A records... ;) This was domination! I can't believe someone thought Celina would sweep the relays. They weren't even in the picture. But, it did make for some good motivation for the boys!

This is a track thread... and we won state in track in 2011. As for football, it's the same for Celina as it is for us. We are BOTH past champions... This years champs are Carthage and Henderson... that's all that matters... ;)

I don't remember who speculated that, but I can see why they might have been hopeful. Celina had the best relay times out of regionals and had been steadily improving each meet. I believe Celina and WOS had both posted better 4X100 times than they ran in region. Celina bested their region times in each event as expected, just not as much as WOS did!

I don't think any from Celina are disapointed as I believe all but one of those young men will be back next year.

Celina medals in both races and this jerk that can do good stats but cuts on boys at a track meet (if I did this I'd get the private message putting me on probation but this halfwit does it and what happens?)....but alas...at a track meet and he says "not even in the picture"....

well it will be fun again this year to watch WOS underachieve on the football field....AGAIN....as I see you say Celina and WOS are "both past champions"....true....but one team has the record and the other is an afterthought on the football field....

congrats to your kids on the track results....but when your team in football matters you have the UIL doing stupid stuff like making your 550 kid school be the biggest in their district to make sure they go Div1 to hose em.....and still Celina will get to 10 before any other 3A team does.....

8 versus 2 is a team "not even in the picture".....

OK... first of all "not even in the picture" refers to the fact that I posted 2 links and at both of the finish lines Celina was not even in the picture. Not good for a team that was supposed to sweep the relays. That wasn't to say they didn't do well... NO ONE was in the picture. Thus, my point about challenging a champion.

I think most of the adults here understood that. I'm guessing you are about 12 so I will leave you alone... At least I HOPE you are, because your comprehension and ability to figure our winning percentage in state title games based on the figures I gave you are failing miserably. :D

...and I hope those 8 state titles have some kind of point bonus effect for you in the coming season because that's about the only way they are going to help you this year.

As for us underachieving, I will agree with you up to this past season. Having a kid die, you really can't say that you should have done better.

i have to agree, you can harsh on WOS any other year, but not this one....wos1 is being kind, it wasnt just "a kid", he was the focal point of their team, the main cog on a tough passing offense and probably the most well liked and respected player there....cant rag on them for "underachieving" on years like that.....karma can turn around and bite you on things like that, and you dont want that, 8 titles or no......:tisk:

Funny... you keep bringing that subject up... We made all of those appearances in 4A, 2-4 50%. In contrast, Celina is 1-3 in 3A... 33%. Looks like your "white boys" have a hard time playing with the "big boys". :D
