This was posted on the Caldwell Hornet Facebook page this morning.

"John Carrigan is selected as Caldwell ISD's Athletic Director. He has been at caldwell 4 years and teaches chemistry. He is the golf coach. He was the athletic director at a school in Houston for 20+ years."

John Carrigan was the AD/HC at Houston-St. Thomas HS for 19 years. Good man, and great person. He is a good choice for AD.
Good start CISD admin. Now, hire a good HC and you can congratulate yourself.

Why split the jobs? Will be tough to get a top fb coach if they split the pay as well......

Kinda amazing...

It seems the Caldwell Supe has proven she's not competent on Athletic Issues...

What about the School Board?

Why did they go along with the circus of the last 6-7 weeks...

Will John Carrigan be involved in the hiring of the new Head Coach? Who was on search/interview committee for the AD?

I could DEFINITELY be wrong about this, but as far as I know there was not a committee. It was all done by the school board.

There was a SB meeting at 3:00pm on Friday last week, that was supposed to be to determine the final candidates for the AD position. By Saturday morning, the Hornet Facebook page had posted that John Carrigan was selected as the AD. That FB page is run by a SB member.
