1. Must stop everman running game
2. control the clock
3. have balanced offense w/depth
post what you think are the most important roles to consider when playing everman.

I feel that the only way Wylie can beat Everman is to get some big breaks early and thus get an early lead. Everman has had their last seven games basically decided at the half so they really may be thrown off if they get behind early. If this does not happen, it will be a VERY long night for Wylie.

#6 Play with 13 kids on the field against them and hope the refs are Aggie alumni.
#7 Lace some chocolate Ex-lax in the pudding before their pre-game meal.
#8 Allow the opposing teams cheerleaders to go tople$$... (oh well, you know what I meant)

#1 Force Turnovers...AND CAPTALIZE OFF OF THEM!!!
#2 No stupid penalties or turnovers
#3 30-35 First downs - May sound hard but if you do this...you keep their D tired...on the field...and you keep their offense on the bench...and you get time managment...

Well, thanks for all the advice. Ktownballa probably hit it on the head--although the Sinton poster's suggestion of using exlax wasn't bad. Praying's good... I agree we are huge underdogs. Everman has proved to be the class of 3A. We pulled off the upset two years ago, but of course that was two different teams. Maybe Everman used up all their touchdowns today and won't have any next week. Nahhh!!! We'll be ready to play, should be a good game.

Ever since the Kennendale game Everman kicked it into overdrive. To beat Everman now a team has to play a near perfect game. It's hard to imagine Everman not taking it all. Although stranger things have happened in Texas High School football! I'd pay NFL prices to see an Everman/Kennendale rematch.
