Game 2: Saturday, May 14th at 11am - Robstown is home

Home will be determined by coin flip

Ingleside vs Sweeny should be interesting, i never expected this game to be played as a 3 game series, I expected this game to be a single game elimination.....should be a good series!!!

Sweeny wants a series every round. The first two round formats were won by AP and Zapata.

Does anyone know anything about the Ingleside vs. Sweeny series will it be worth watching? I live in the area and was thinking about going. I haven't heard much about either team. How do the the teams match up?

I think it will be a good series. Sweeny was second in District 29 behind West Columbia and comes into this series 19-5. Ingleside won District 30 (not sure of record).

This WILL be a good series. Sweeny's got SPEED. Ingleside's pitcher and shortstop are D-1 quality. Don't miss it.

Ingleside record is 17-11. Some of the losses came early in the season when some of the girls were still playing basketball.
The Lady Mustangs have some pretty heavy bats and good speed on the spaces. Pitching is good but not great. They can just outscore you.

ingleside has 11 losses 10 of them came when the starters where still playing in the basketball playoffs....the lady stangs started the season 0-10 till basketball was over, basketball was over on a friday the girls came back saturday and lost...if my memory serves me correct i believe the are on a 16 game winning streak.....should be a good game, atleast the first game and maybe the third game if it goes that far. ingleside will have problems in game 2.:nerd:
