State golf tournament----Who's the favorite?

Should be a good 3A tourney this year. Andrews' girls have to be the clear favorite. The Andrews boys are top 3 playing but finished 2nd to Perryton at regionals. Should be interesting to see if the Mustangs can win state titles in boys and girls in golf. Can't wait

Grandson is a finalist for 2A Individual as a soph! Will be making the trip tomorrow morning early. Drive em long Logan! Very proud of the young man.

He is a fine young man. I know him personally. Played some golf with both him and his dad, and am proud to send my support his way.

Thanks guys for your support! He is really a good kid and a better golfer, having his struggles yesterday and today, but he is only a soph, a lot of pressure on the young man, but it comes from within in heart, and he will succeed.

What did he shoot? How proud were you when he took his 1st TeeShot - and they called him by name - "representing Bangs High SChool" I remember the 1st year when Johnny Tee'd off, with all the announcing, etc. I admit, it was hard to contain the emotions :) Think I'll change my signature for a few days :)

Great school for golf. Also a great coarse to play on.

Plus they are breaking ground on a new Club House and Practice Quarters for the Golf team. Will be done in perfect timing.

Shot a 91 first day, 85 second day! He was really disappointed with his performance, but he has a very positive attitude and will achieve his goals. Very proud of the young man, he has achieved the goal of putting more than one lump in my throat. I think we will be dragging the bag back to the greens in Austin next year. Finished tied for 31st!

In 4A Montgomery had both of their boys teams and a girls team make it. Girls won, buys got 3rd I think.
