(BELLVILLE) The Cameron Yoemen knocked off Bellville Friday night on the road 6-2, to finish up their warm-up schedule before starting their 2A playoff run. The Yoemen beat Bellville in both of their warm-up games, and will face the Edna Cowboys this coming Friday in game 1 of their best of 3 series in Flatonia. You`ll hear the series live here on KMIL.

Bellville will play Silsbee.

Better get their game on for the Silsbee series. This wont be much like playing Kipp, Royal, or Stafford.

I was at the game Friday night in Bellville. There is no doubt that Bellville has some quality arms throughout the rotation and which is the strong point for this team. Overall, they play pretty good defense and will make the routine plays. Our #2 pitched Friday and he walked a few(which led to the 2 runs) but he was on for the most part. Bellville needs to have good production from the top of the order, more so from the top 2. If they can get that they will have a good shot.
