because they want it more. These guys are on a mission. If Atlanta has as good a defense as they say then they will hold Marlin 90% of the time. The other 10% will result in 4 tds for Marlin.

Marlin 28
Atlanta 14

I want a million dollars..doesn't mean I'm gonna get it. Don't count those boys from Atlanta out just yet.

Um..I don't think Marlin will be winning tonight. Obviously Atlanta is way better than a lot of people thought or suspected cause they're leading it 20,0 right now and it's the end of 3rd quarter. But crazy things can happen, so we'll see what it looks like at the end of the 4th quarter...

my bad I put 20-0, it's actually 22-0...my mistake, sorry.

"because they want it more"

That's one for the record books.

Did you have conversations with the Atlanta players and they said "Yeah, they want it more!"

Where did you get that information?

BTW - the team that didn't want it more is destroying the team on a mission 28-0.

Hmmmmmm - perhaps you were wrong in your evaluation of the two teams????????

I agree with you on that Titans! Sure don't look so good for Marlin in the 4th quarter right now with Atlanta winnin 28-0! Think people underestimated Atlanta a little too much.

Marlin is getting an Ennis sized spanking right now.

I think the original post should have read:

Why Atlanta will shut out Marlin?

Because they want it more. They are on a mission....LMAO

You think Pudlugger will show his face on here to say what an idiotic and ignorant statement he made?

There were some great games today though, huh?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to ya'll but believe it or not my DSL connection cratered in the third period of the game about the same time Marlin did. Man was I wrong! I knew Atlanta was good but was clueless as to just how good they really are. Hats off to Atlanta for being a superb team and congratulations to Marlin for getting so far. :)

Never ever count out a Reg II team.Well, like a lot of folks here on the 'Low, I knew how good Marlin was and had seen them play a couple of times. I really only knew what little had been discussed here regarding the Rabs and I felt Marlin would have the edge. However, as I said elsewhere on the board today, Marlin hasn't had any come from behind victories and they thrive on striking first and fast. The Rabs turned the tables on them with that 90 yard punt return early in the 1st quarter which took the momentum from Marlin. They never really got into their game from then on. The announcers described them best as looking flat. Oh well, I get to eat crow now. Meanwhile, congrats to the Bulldogs for getting to the Final and congrats to Atlanta for establishing themselves as true Champions. :)
