A confusing replacement for the DH rule. You can use it like the DH but there is a little more that you can do with it. I don't see the additional benefits. It may benefit some, I don't know. It is to lengthy to post the example situation. I'll try to find a link to post on here.

I don't know about it but from what you are saying I am beginning to like it. It is great to have a DH because a lot of players can only bat the ball and don't have skills to play other positions so this gives a person with good batting skills but nothing else a chance to play and contribute. It also gives you a chance to have someone bat for someone that has outstanding defensive skills but no batting skill. A good rule.

its not really new - its just another name for the ASA defo ..... most coaches seems to like it and plan to use it
