Region IV Track

Here are some things I noticed and thoughts:

1. West Oso's freshman girl: AMAZING
2. Mile Relay: Did not put the runners in order to take baton
3. Triple Jump & Long Jump done side by side. With empty pits on the other end, not being used.
4. Did not notice a showing from Bandera's girl track. This use to be a strong squad.
5. Cuero did not dominate the boys. However they do have a fast one at the 100m and the long distance kid was good. They also have a heck of a girl hurdler.
6. Sweeny boys: handoffs
7. Sam Houston: Very fast and big kids in throwing. They could hurt people in football if they could get it going.
8. Boys mile relay: great race. kid from Ingleside making the others trying to pass him on the outside.
9. The girls team of Fredericksburg and La Vernia, impressive
10. West Oso's freshman girl: VERY FAST...STILL HAS 3 MORE YEARS


What did yall take from the meet.

I enjoyed the meet.....the annoucer sounded unsure of somethings at times....but no big deal.


the only thing that bugged me were the tents on the fan side...sitting at the top it was hard to see at times....thanks Zapata.

it was another valley team I think: the gators? not the ones from Florida
