Celina won the region 2 meet tonight.

The mile relay ran a 3:15.3

Celina also won all the relays and Roos was 1st in the shotput.

Set a meet record in the mile relay

I am positive that if you check the Gene Pool, you will find East Texas blood present...we have no problem inter-breeding.

You know why everyone stays for the second half of a Celina blowout game? That's when the Celina kids get to play! lol.

A 3:15 mile relay is kick some serious arse. I seriously doubt anyone from 3A ranks will even be close. Maybe even 4A and 5A. Congrats.

I know this, Celina won the Regional qualifiers meet they went to in the 4X400 . Beat Southlake etc..Was interesting to see that the top 5 finishers in the Reg Qual meet in the 4X400 all have EXTREMELY Strong FB programs...hmmm...wonder if there is a connection??

Wont get an arguement out of me on that one. Ive always said a strong track program almost guarantees good football.

The only difference between a Celina hs senior and an east Texas hs senior is 4-5 years.

Crazy how that works. By the way, 3 of the mile relay boys are juniors. They did win a couple other relays too...

With 3 DI linemen and 3 of the 4 guys being juniors running a 3:15 . Could be tough to beat in the fall

A 3:15 mile relay translates into 4 guys turning out a 48.75 quarter. So yes, it means they have some speed!

3rd leg on that relay is a 175lb linebacker with a 310lb power clean!
